Limerick Fine Gael TD, Kieran O’Donnell in a response to the impact of COVID-19 on businesses and SMEs, has launched a Rebooting Our Economy initiative to inform government strategy through wide ranging engagement with businesses in Limerick and Mid-West.
Deputy O’Donnell is looking to hear the views from and engage with businesses as well as their representative organisations on the unprecedented difficulties they have encountered during the Covid-19 crisis. As the lifting of public health restrictions unfolds, business and employment recovery is key and each sector will have its own challenges to overcome. He can facilitate online meetings using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
“These are unprecedented times and in my role as a TD for Limerick and North Tipperary, I am looking to engage directly with businesses here on the challenges they face with Covid-19 to resume operations as the lifting of public health restrictions unfolds. In particular, this engagement is to inform government strategy in charting a way forward to business and employment recovery.
“The views of businesses and their representative bodies, including here in Limerick and the Mid-West are a key component to the recovery strategy which will be needed in the weeks and months ahead.
