Kieran is a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Limerick City Constituency in the 33rd Dáil and Chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communications Networks. From 2016-2020 Kieran served as a Senator in the 25th Seanad, elected on the Cultural and Educational Panel. He was the Spokesperson for Finance for Fine Gael in the Seanad and is currently a member of the Oireachtas Finance Committee. Kieran served as TD for Limerick City Constituency, having first being elected in 2007. He has been a Spokesperson on Finance, and Enterprise and Employment. Kieran was Vice-Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and was a member of the Banking Inquiry.
Kieran is married to Phil and has four children. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, with many years of experience with his own practice and has an honours Business Studies degree from UL. He has a special interest in Disabilities.
