Castletroy based Fine Gael TD for Limerick City, Kieran O’Donnell has welcomed the announcement this morning by Legato Health Technologies, an independent health services provider specialising in management and digital transformation, who are to create 60 new roles in Limerick over the 6 months. He also welcomed that the company is to establish a Research and Development Hub in the National Technology Park.

Deputy O’Donnell said: “ I greatly welcome the announcement this morning by Legato Health Technologies of their plans to create 60 jobs over the next 6 months here in Limerick, establishing a Research and Development Hub in the National Technology Park, creating an innovative open office space in which Legato’s newly hired team will be able to make the most of a work/life balance.

“This IDA supported project sees Legato continue the strong trend of companies utilising the diverse and highly skilled talent pool in the technology sector located here in Limerick and Mid-West.

“Legato have strongly identified the skilled talent pool here in Limerick and the region as a rationale for this decision to locate here, and over the next 6 months will recruit the 60 new roles which include expert Data Scientists and Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineers. The Limerick team will be responsible for building and iterating applications and AI solutions to make healthcare simple, affordable and accessible for its clients.

“It is important that as we recover from the pandemic, we ensure Limerick and the Mid-West continually strives to create these highly skilled jobs in key growth sectors, taking advantage of our well established and growing diverse workforce together with the excellent third level institutions located here.

Legato accelerates growth with establishment of R&D Hub in Limerick creating 60 jobs over the next six months

[Limerick, Ireland] Tuesday September 14th 2021: Legato Health Technologies (Legato) has announced plans to establish an R&D hub in Limerick city leveraging the Mid-West region’s diverse technology talent.
